All hosting packages include one .uk domain name. .com, .net and .org domains are available for £5 extra/year.
Sites are hosted on our very own server housed in a super fast data centre in Edinburgh. We aim to keep the load on the server as low as reasonably possible, giving very high performance hosting.
The server runs Apache with PHP on Fedora Core. Most common libraries such as GD2 and ImageMagick are installed and available. If there is a specific library you require, the chances are we will be able to install it for you.
All packages from Hosting 100 upwards come with AWStats statistics software which gives loads of useful information about the visitors to your site.
By default all mail passing through the server goes through our spam filters. Since introducing this we have noticed a drop in the amount of spam received in excess of 70% with an extremely low false-positive rate. If required the spam filter can be disabled for single email addresses or whole domains.
